God wants us to thrive physically and spiritually.  To that end, He has provided for us shelter (Psalm 46:1-3), food (John 6:35), water (John 7:34-38), space (Matthew 28:18-20).   We have an enemy, a predator.   John 10:10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.(NIV)  God calls us to put aside things that hold us back from His best and live a life of thankfulness.  (Ephesians 5:3-4)
